The AOG has recently learned of the death of Col (Ret) Roger A. Sorensen, CS-12 class of 1963. Col Sorensen passed away on 6 Dec 2009 in Murrells Inlet SC.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, 12 Dec 2009 at 1000 hrs at the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach, 1300 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29577. Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1306, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578; or to Happy Wheels, 1400 Madison Court, Mount Pleasant, SC 29466 (a charity benefitting the MUSC Children’s Hospital).
