Dear Bob, I'm sorry to have to share some bad news with you. Dick died March 31, after being sick for about six weeks. He went in the hospital March 12 for a lung biopsy, which led to a diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis, and things got worse very rapidly. All we could do was manage to get him home, so he could die in his own house as he wanted. Even though Dick went into the Navy after graduation, the Academy and his classmates were always close to his heart. I'd appreciate it if you could pass this information on to the appropriate person for inclusion in the records, and possibly the newsletter.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely, Karel Bunce
