•   Bob and Denny's letter (the Second Call) included the following: "We still need your input regarding a possible class gift, to be presented to the Academy at the 50th reunion. One idea that has generated interest is the gift of an oral history of our class. Cadets are interested in your experiences at the Academy and in the Air Force. Individual or group interviews of all who wish to participate would be conducted, recorded on CDs, and presented to the Academy. That collection, also available to us, could become an important part of USAFA heritage. Please send your comments about this proposal along with your ideas for a different class gift, or no class gift, to Drue Deberry at druedeberry@comcast.net."
